We enroll children 2 ½ years to 5 years old and encourage each child to progress at his/her own pace. Our school days are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Stone House at Lindberg Park in Culver City, CA.

Tours of La Playa for the 2009-2010 school year are given on the following dates:

Tours are very informative and therefore designed for parents only. Arrangements can be made to bring your child(ren) to La Playa on a different date/time.

In the event of rain, tours will be cancelled

NOTE: You MUST attend a tour in order to apply for admission.

There is a one-time registration fee of $50.00 due on the child’s first day of school. $25.00 will be subtracted for families who paid the $25.00 waiting list fee.
Tuition is due on the 10th of each month. Payable at school put your check in the “tuition mailbox.” Fees not received by the 15th will incur a late fee of $20.00 per month.
Since La Playa is licensed by the state we need to keep certain papers on file at all times. These forms include: membership contract, child's pre-admission health history, physician's report, family questionnaire, proof of car insurance, personal rights form, parents rights form, parent health screening report, identification and emergency information, consent forms and child abuse prevention pamphlet form. All forms MUST be completed and returned before your child can attend class.
A member must give two weeks notice to the membership chairperson when withdrawing from school. Tuition and workday obligations continue up to the day of withdrawal.

This school is a private, non-profit, community-based preschool. Tuition provides the necessary income to meet expenses. Fund-raisers are used for classroom and playground enrichment.
